12/15/2023 0 Comments How to catch walleye on fishing planetI know that there are many factors to take in consideration like the hook size, bait/lure ,time of the day, weather and position BUT i still think that the fish i'm catching is far too small than the numbers above REGARLDESS of trophy / unique game i mean never got to catch any trophy or unique for any of those examples exept the walleye, i don't really know if that's the issue but the biggest trophy i got so far from the examples above was a FRIKING 2 kg walleye and i catch tons of it. So giving this numbersi wonder why the heck i'm catching far smaller game than i expected. Walleye : average: " " " /max up to 20 kg (44 lbs) Northen pike : average 8 kg (17.5lbs) / max up to 25 kg (55 lbs) Smallmouth buffalo : average 2.5 kg - 7 kg (5lbs-15lbs) / max up to 16kg (35lbs) If you're successful, you should get a hit between 60 and 40 feet, but you could still get lucky up to when it comes out of the water.Channel catfish : average 4.5 kg - 9 kg (10-20 lbs) / max up to 26 kg (57lbs) Cast out like the video shows, and use a steady pull with a wiggle once in a while. This will be the max that the 6'3" can handle, and you don't want to break your rod. Get the very first one, the black barbless narrow spoon 1/4 Oz. The important part is the barbless spoon. 60 feet out is where you should start getting action. You're going to need to be able to cast at least 100 feet. A 7' would probably be better since it allows for heavier tackle, but the 6'3" works. A Jester 6'3", with a LowDexMG 100 S reel. This is not the place to go to farm money. That gives me a 44 lb capacity, so that if I fill the cage, I'll make a slight profit. I waited until I was a high enough level for the FishJail S (lecredits). Even though walleye are valuable, they're rather large (around 2 lbs) and will fill your keepnet or stringer. Keep in mind that trips to Emerald Lake will likely lose you money.
